One of my friends used to work at "silicon speedway." They would build Nascar simulators that would be shipped around to different Nascar events. The simulators were full...well...close enough to full mock-ups of Nascar...um..cars, down to the actual wheels and tires. Well...long story short, my buddy took a couple of these tires and put them on another friends' Z28. My friend witht the Z28 then proceeds to tell me this story: Dude, after I got those things warmed up, the traction was amazing! (okay, I'll buy that, don't know much Nascar tires, but okay) Dude, even in the rain I was grippin' like crazy. (okay, bullshit) I told him that there was no way in hell that those tires would ever be able to grip in the rain, simple high school physics taught me that. He stood by his story as to not look like a dumbass in front of other friends, but I knew the truth. Do this day, I'll bring it up once in awhile, he still stands by the story. I think it's funny.

A work in progress... All those who quote: "There's no replacement for displacement," are full of shit. They've never driven a Twin Turbo Z. Wow. The more 2+2s I see the better they look. - SooperZ95 09/22/03 21:53:36 (4) *smack* - cha5e 09/22/03 22:18:25 (1)
